The Amiri Diwan confirmed that the Eid Al Adha holidays for ministries, public bodies, and government institutions will kick off on Thursday, June 5, and wrap up on Monday, June 9. That means government employees are expected to be back at work starting Tuesday, June 10.

As for banks, financial institutions, and entities overseen by the Qatar Central Bank and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, holiday dates will be announced separately by the Central Bank Governor. So if you're working in finance — hold tight, your schedule might look a little different.

The announcement comes as Qatar gears up for one of the biggest holidays on the Islamic calendar. Whether you're jetting off, spending time with family, or just catching up on rest, the Eid break promises a well-deserved pause.

Pro tip: Expect busy roads and packed spots — if you're staying in town, make restaurant and salon bookings early!
