Qatar Airways to Increase Flights to Over 15 Global Winter Destinations

Qatar Airways has unveiled an expanded Global Winter Schedule for 2025–26, increasing flight frequencies to more than 15 international destinations—a move that promises unmatched global connectivity via its Doha hub at Hamad International Airport.

A standout feature is the rise in service to London Heathrow, where the airline will now operate up to 10 daily flights, marking its highest-ever frequency to London. This surge in capacity is complemented by British Airways’ additional daily services, enhancing the travel corridor between Doha and the UK capital.

Other major winter upgrades include:

  • Abu Dhabi: from 5 to 6 daily flights

  • Berlin: from 18 to 21 weekly flights

  • Cape Town: from 10 to 12 weekly flights

  • Casablanca: from 4 to 5 weekly flights

  • Dublin: from 14 to 17 weekly flights

  • Frankfurt: from 18 to 21 weekly flights

  • Johannesburg: from 14 to 18 weekly flights

  • Madrid: from 14 to 17 weekly flights

  • Maldives: from 3 to 4 daily flights

  • Manchester: from 21 to 24 weekly flights

  • Phuket: from 3 to 4 daily flights

  • São Paulo: from 14 to 18 weekly flights

  • Sharjah: from 3 to 7 daily flights

  • Tokyo Narita: from 11 to 14 weekly flights

  • Toronto: from 5 to 7 weekly flights

These enhancements address rising demand for travel to premium destinations such as London, Dublin, Cape Town, and São Paulo, which has driven Qatar Airways’ decision to ramp up offerings across key global markets.

In addition to route upgrades, Qatar Airways is broadening its alliance with Virgin Australia. This includes launching three daily flights from Melbourne to Doha and resuming services to Canberra, reinforcing its long-term commitment to strengthening ties with the Australian market.

To ensure a superior in-flight experience, the airline currently operates 54 Boeing 777s equipped with ultra‑high‑speed Starlink Wi‑Fi, offering free gate‑to‑gate connectivity at up to 500 Mbps—a unique service in the MENA region. Equipment upgrades on the A350 fleet are underway, with full integration expected within the year.
