The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) awarded Qatar Basketball Association (QBF) the third place award in the Best Awards for development category. QBF was crowned with the award for being among the most improved national federations for 3×3 competitions.

Qatar came among the best three national federations in the world, in the classification from the period between 2021 and July 2023.
Lithuania federation came in the first place, followed by Austria in second place.
Meanwhile, the National Federation Progression Award was awarded to the three best improving teams during the same period.
The most improved teams women are Jordan (1st), Guatemala (2nd) and Norway (3rd), while the most improved teams men are Guinea (1st), South Sudan (2nd) and Cape Verde (3rd).
