The United Nations has hailed Qatar as a trusted regional partner, pointing to its active role in ceasefire talks, hostage negotiations, and pushing for humanitarian aid into Gaza.

According to UN Humanitarian Chief Tom Fletcher, Qatar’s efforts aren’t just about words—it’s also about money. In 2025 alone, Qatar poured more than $410 million into global humanitarian response efforts, supporting UN agencies, NGOs, and Red Crescent groups.
