The tournament is set to take place across 12 cities in the United States next year, with top clubs like PSG and Inter Milan already set to open their matches in Los Angeles this June.

Partnership aims to boost fan experience

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the partnership will help connect global fans with what’s expected to be a landmark event in international football.

“Qatar Airways is a world-class airline, and their role in supporting this new chapter of club football is essential,” Infantino said.

Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al Meer also emphasized that the airline’s involvement goes beyond just visibility. “This is about connecting fans, players, and teams with the spirit of football,” he said. “Our network of over 170 destinations – including 11 in the US – will help bring the global football community together.”

Airline’s global reach to support tournament logistics

Qatar Airways’ partnership with FIFA strengthens its position in the sports world, especially after already sponsoring major football clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.

With matches beginning in June 2025, the airline is expected to play a major role in transporting players, teams, officials, and fans across the U.S.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is the first of its kind to feature 32 clubs, promising a tournament of World Cup scale for the club football scene.
