The Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf inaugurated a new mosque in Rawdat Al-Hamamah.

The mosque is designated  Mosque Number (MS) 1392 and can accommodate up to 575 male and female worshippers, covering 4,453 square meters.

The new mosque is part of the ministry's plan to develop mosques to keep up with the population increase and urban growth in Qatar, aligning with the National Vision 2030. 

The mosque has a prayer hall for 500 male worshippers and a separate hall for 70 female worshippers. 

The new mosque has spacious ablution facilities and large public parking spaces to accommodate the rush during Taraweeh, Laylatul Qadr, and Eid prayers. 

There are also parking spaces for people with special needs.
