Hamas announced on Tuesday that five of its members were killed in an Israeli attack on Doha, including the son of exiled Gaza chief Khalil al-Hayya.
Ceasefire Team Targeted
The group claims Israel’s real aim was to assassinate its ceasefire negotiation team. Hamas, however, said the plan failed, stressing that its senior leaders remain alive.

Leaders Confirm Survival
Hamas political bureau member Suhail al-Hindi told Al Jazeera that the group’s top leadership had survived the strike, describing it as a failed Israeli attempt to derail negotiations.
