The Criminal Investigation Department at Qatar's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has arrested a gang involved in several thefts at gold stores.

The suspects were apprehended at Hamad International Airport just before leaving Qatar.
They were referred to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary legal proceedings with them.
Video surveillance footages inside a jewellery store captured a man and two women distracting the salesperson while they stole gold items before leaving the store.
The suspects later repeated the same modus operandi in another store.
The criminals were tracked through video surveillance from the moment they left their residence until they arrived at the airport, where they were arrested with the stolen items in their possession.
