Emir Leaves Doha for the UK to Attend King Charles' Coronation

The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani departed from Doha for the UK on Thursday, May 4th where he will attend King Charles III's Coronation.

The Emir is accompanied by an official delegation. In the UK, Sheikh Tamim will also hold talks with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the strategic relationships between Qatar and the UK. 

The event will also be attended by leaders from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, and Morocco.

More than 2,200 people will attend the coronation at the Westminister Abbey in London including heads of state, royals, foreign delegations, and foreign leaders.
