The Cultural Village Foundation ‘Katara’, in collaboration with the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, has announced the opening of a new exhibition titled “Legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022,” inviting the public to explore the enduring impact of the landmark tournament.

The exhibition is scheduled to open on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Building 45 within Katara Cultural Village. It aims to highlight the cultural, sporting, and social legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, offering visitors a chance to relive memorable moments and appreciate how the event continues to shape Qatar’s identity on both the regional and global stage.

Organisers say the display will attract football fans, culture enthusiasts, and those interested in understanding how hosting the world’s biggest football tournament has fostered lasting community and cultural developments in Qatar.

As part of Qatar’s broader efforts to celebrate and preserve the history of major sporting events hosted in the country, the exhibition provides an opportunity to reflect on the global significance of the 2022 World Cup and its ongoing influence across sports, culture, and society.

Visitors are encouraged to attend the opening and experience the rich array of stories and exhibits that trace the tournament’s legacy beyond the pitch.
