If you rely on public transport to get around Doha, here’s the update you’ve been waiting for. The Doha Metro and Lusail Tram have officially announced their service hours for Ramadan 2026.
The new schedule kicks in during the holy month, with slight tweaks to Friday timings and extended late-night operations.

Doha Metro Ramadan 2026 Hours
Here’s how the Metro will run:
Saturday to Thursday: 5:30 am to 1:30 am
Friday: 9:30 am to 1:30 am
So yes, weekday mornings still start early, but Fridays get a later kickoff.
Lusail Tram Ramadan 2026 Hours
If you’re hopping on the tram, take note:
Saturday to Thursday: 5:30 am to 2 am
Friday: 2:30 pm to 2 am
Fridays start much later for the tram, but services run until 2 am every night.
