The permanent body decided, unanimously, by all members of the Islamic Call Center in Latin America and the Caribbean, to grant Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Saudi Arabia, the Shield of the Influential Personality in Confronting Hatred and Spreading Tolerance for the year 2022, in return for his great efforts and active contributions in spreading the values of tolerance, rejection of hatred, consolidation of the values of moderation Islam through a missionary journey full of giving that has been going on for 35 years.
Immediately after he was informed of the decision to grant him the Shield of the Influential Islamic Personality for the year 2022, Minister Al-Sheikh presented the shield to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

It should be noted that Al-Sheikh is the first global Islamic figure to be awarded this shield on the sidelines of the 35th International Conference of Muslims of Latin America and the Caribbean.
