974 World Cup Stadium Obtains Two Sustainability Certificates

The International Influencers Cup, organized by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, concluded today at the 974 World Cup Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the participation of 25 prominent social media influencers, as well as Qatar’s legacy ambassadors worldwide, and a number of Qatar’s legacy ambassadors, who are the Brazilian Cafu, Australian Tim Cahill, Dutch Ronald de Boer, Omani Ali Al Habsi, Qatari quadruple Mubarak Mustafa, Khaled Salman, Ahmed Khalil, and Mohammed Saadoun Al Kuwari, in addition to the guests of the event, former German star Lothar Matthäus, French Marcel Desailer and Ivorian Yaya Touré.

The events were concluded in a wonderful atmosphere in the presence of Mr. Khaled Al-Naama, the Official Spokesperson and Director of the Digital Media Department at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, and Fatima Al-Nuaimi, the Executive Director of Communications at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, and a selection of those involved in the event.

The activities of the tournament opened yesterday, Monday, and witnessed the establishment of four matches, and resulted in the qualification of four teams to play for the first three places.

The competitions continued today, with first the match to determine the third place, and the activities concluded with the final match and the crowning of the stars of the championship. The Brazilian star Cafu team won first place, the Australian star Tim Cahill team second place, and the Omani star Ali Al-Habsi team ranked third.

Khaled Al-Nama, in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), said The idea of gathering this constellation of influential figures at the world level comes in the week leading up to the Qatar World Cup 2022 draw, to communicate with them, especially since we in the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy have had a constructive relationship with them for a while. Al-Nama added “Therefore, we are pleased with the presence and arrival of these influential personalities from more than ten countries representing four continents Europe, North and South America, Asia, and of course from the Arab world and the Middle East, led by football specialists who usually talk to their large fans about football, and most importantly today is that In addition to the opportunity to talk about the Qatar World Cup closely, they will also have the opportunity to practice football in the stadiums of the tournament, even ahead of the stars of most of the teams that will participate in the tournament.
