Turns out, Travis Kelce had Taylor Swift’s engagement ring locked in way before the big reveal. His dad, Ed Kelce, shared on The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma that Travis got the diamond ring as early as July and had been planning the proposal for months.

How It Really Happened

According to Ed, Travis wanted the timing to be perfect. He even teased his son to just hop on a plane and get it done during NFL camp breaks, but Travis took his time. The Sweet Proposal

The big moment was low-key but romantic. Travis asked Taylor to join him for a glass of wine before dinner, then surprised her with the proposal. “It was beautiful,” Ed recalled, describing the moment.

On August 26, the couple shared the news with fans through a joint Instagram post, making their engagement official after weeks of keeping it private.
