Red Sea Film Foundation Honors Jacqueline Fernandez

The Red Sea Film Foundation honored Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez during the Women in Cinema gala at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. 

She has gained recognition with roles in commercially successful Bollywood films such as Murder 2 (2011), Housefull 2 (2012), Race 2 (2013), and Kick (2014).

Alongside Fernandez, Arab actress Amina Khalil, Saudi actress Elham Ali, Thai actress Engfa Waraha, Syrian filmmaker Gaya Jiji, Zambian-Welsh filmmaker Rungano Nyoni, and Saudi multidisciplinary artist Sarah Taibah.

The Red Sea Film Foundation is also at Cannes this year for the screening of four films it supported through the Red Sea Fund, Red Sea Souk, and the Red Sea Labs. 

The films are 'Promised Sky', 'Aisha Can't Fly Away', 'Dandelion's Odyssey', and 'Life After Siham'. 

The film foundation will also be at the Saudi Pavilion at the Marché du Film until May 21.
