Nawazuddin Siddiqui Impresses in 'Costao' Trailer

Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui impressed fans in his new role as a customs officer in the 'Costao' trailer.
Although, he is described as an honest officer, he ends up being falsely accused of murder. The trailer also shows him being beaten up by a mob of women in black.
In this movie, Siddiqui plays Costao Fernandez, a customs officer who took on Goa's most powerful smuggling syndicate during the 1990s.
However, he is betrayed by his system and falsely charged with murder, which leads him to fight both the corrupt administration and the criminal underworld.
The Indian cinematographer Sejal Shah has directed this film, debuting as a director after working on well-known projects including 'Bodyguard'.
Shah has also produced the film alongside Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Bhavesh Mandalia, Shyam Sunder, and Faizuddin Siddiqui.
Alongside Siddiqui, Priya Bapat, Kishore Kumar G, Gagan Dev Riar, and Hussain Dalal star in the film.
Bhavesh Mandalia and Meghna Srivastava have written the script for the film.
'Costao' is set to be released on ZEE5 on May 1.
