Lusail City has been confirmed as the host for the 2025 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, running from December 10 to 13, 2025.
The course features a 2 km swim in the Arabian Gulf, an 80 km cycling leg through Lusail’s iconic streets, and an 18 km run across Lusail Plaza and Boulevard. The design highlights Lusail’s waterfront, landmarks, and premier venues, including the renowned Lusail Stadium, home of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final.
This championship weekend promises a festival-like atmosphere, offering events for athletes of all levels. The program includes the first-ever T100 Age-Group World Championships, a 100 km open-entry race, and a sprint-distance triathlon, along with a mass 5k/1 km fun run on December 10 to engage local communities and visitors. A youth triathlon will also be added, with details forthcoming.
Structurally, the final event of the nine-stop T100 Triathlon World Tour—spanning global cities from Singapore to London—offers increased points, making it a pivotal championship-decider for both male and female triathletes.
Top-tier athletes, including past champions like Taylor Knibb and Marten Van Riel—Olympic and world champions—are set to headline the elite field, joined by competitors from 13 countries.
