LG UltraGear™ OLED 27GX790 Shined at Dubai Esports Festival

LG’s presence at Dubai Esports Festival 2025 wasn’t just another booth—it was a full-on immersive tech experience. In partnership with Gamenzo, LG showcased its latest UltraGear™ gaming monitors, giving gamers and creators in the region a first-hand feel of what peak performance really looks like.

At the heart of LG’s setup was the UltraGear™ OLED 27GX790—a 480Hz OLED monitor that combines 0.03ms (GtG) response time with DisplayHDR True Black 400. This model proved why LG remains a serious contender in the high-performance gaming space, especially as demand for ultra-responsive displays continues to rise.

Alongside it, LG debuted two other major products in the Middle East for the first time, as noted in their official announcement. The 45” UltraGear™ OLED 5K2K WUHD, with its 330Hz refresh rate and world-first resolution of 5120 x 2160, captivated competitive gamers with its curved design and immersive picture quality. It wasn't just a monitor; it was a statement. Positioned at the intersection of innovation and esports culture, this model made a powerful impact at DEF.

Meanwhile, the 31.5” 4K UHD IPS Smart Monitor Swing—complete with touchscreen and a versatile rolling stand—was quietly stealing attention from content creators and professionals. It featured DCI-P3 95% color accuracy, support for HDR, and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) capabilities that make multitasking feel seamless. Whether used for editing, streaming, or hybrid work setups, it delivered on both form and function.

According to LG’s Head of IT Sales, Lee Seung Jun, the company’s aim was to provide the ultimate gaming experience and elevate the conversation around productivity tools in the region. That objective clearly resonated at GameExpo, where visitors engaged directly with the displays and walked away with a stronger impression of LG’s direction.

The booth—part of the public event from May 9–11 at Dubai World Trade Centre—was strategically placed between the family zone and Zabeel Hall 3. Designed with LG’s trademark attention to aesthetic detail, it used borderless display edges, ambient hexagon lighting, and VESA-certified adaptive sync to create a world where performance and design coexisted beautifully.

LG’s showcase at DEF 2025 wasn’t just about promoting a few new screens—it was about reinforcing its regional leadership in the gaming monitor category and setting the tone for what users should expect from the future of display technology.
