Karisma Kapoor's Ex-Husband Sunjay Kapoor Dies at 53

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, passed away at 53 of a heart attack during a polo match, according to media reports.
Kapur was the Chairman of the auto components firm Sona Comstar. According to the India Today report, Kapur passed away in England, UK, on Thursday, June 12.
During the polo match, a bee flew into Sunjay's mouth while he was riding the horse, which triggered the heart attack, according to Times of India. Despite immediate medical help, Kapur could not be saved.
Late on the Thursday night, Karisma's sister, Kareena Kapoor, and the latter's husband Saif Ali Khan arrived at her residence in Mumbai to offer their condolences. The sisters' close friend, Malaika Arora, also visited to offer her condolences.

In addition to Sona Comstar, Kapur was also serving as the Chairman of the CII Northern Region and the Co-Chairman of the Manufacturing Council, CII.
He was also the former President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA).
Sunjay and Karisma tied the knot in 2003, and their divorce was finalized in June 2016. Together, they have two children: a daughter, Samairaa, and a son, Kiaan.
