Kam Air and Malaysian Airlines Resume Operations at HIA

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has announced the resumption of operations for two additional airlines, with Kam Air returning on 17 May 2026 and Malaysian Airlines restarting services on 2 July 2026.

The operational update from HIA confirms that both airlines will be back in operation following a period of reduced flight services. Passengers planning to travel with these carriers are advised to contact the airlines directly to obtain the latest flight schedules and availability.

According to the airport's latest update, flight operations are continuing in full compliance with all appropriate authorities and in close collaboration with airline partners. This ensures that all services meet the required safety and operational standards as normal operations gradually resume.

HIA's comprehensive schedule of airline resumptions continues to expand, with recent additions including SriLankan Airlines (11 May) and Pegasus Airlines (12 May). The airport has been systematically bringing back various carriers to restore full connectivity to its global network.

The resumption of Kam Air and Malaysian Airlines represents another significant step in HIA's phased approach to returning to normal operations, providing passengers with more travel options as the aviation industry continues its recovery.
