Emir of Qatar and UAE President meet in Doha to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss regional peace following the Iran-Israel ceasefire.

The Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, in Doha on Thursday, June 26.
The two leaders discussed the strong relations between their two countries and ways to further strengthen their countries' relationship, which will benefit their people.
The two leaders also discussed the latest political developments in the Middle East and ways to promote peace and stability in the region.
The meeting followed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, and H.H. Sheikh Mohamed praised the Emir's efforts in bringing about this ceasefire.
The UAE President expressed his country's solidarity with Qatar and its people after the recent attack on the Al Udeid Air Base.
The UAE delegation included Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and several ministers and senior officials.
After the meeting between the leaders, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed left Qatar and the Emir of Qatar, along with several ministers and senior officials, bid him farewell.
