The Armenian embassy in Kuwait announced that, effective July 1, 2025, residents holding valid residency permits from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the EU, Schengen Area countries, or the United States will be granted visa-free entry to Armenia.

The visa waiver is expected to simplify travel for residents from countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, making Armenia a more accessible destination for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.

As part of this policy, Armenia will also grant visa-free entry to citizens from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman from July 1.

This initiative reflects Armenia's commitment to expanding its global partnerships and promoting itself as a welcoming destination for international visitors. The visa-free access for GCC residents is anticipated to increase tourist inflow and contribute positively to the country's economy.
