Student Raises Palestinian Flag at Graduation in Qatar

A male student, named Ali Mohammed Shaat, raised the Palestinian flag during his graduation in Qatar.

The student was at the graduation ceremony of the 2025 class of Doha University of Science and Technology (UDST).

When his name was called, he walked onto the stage to receive his diploma. However, before that, he unfurled the Palestinian flag he was holding and held it for the audience to see before putting it on his shoulders.

He then received his diploma and walked off the stage. The student carried out this action to express solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza who are suffering during the ongoing war in the enclave because of Israel's constant attacks and the aid blockade.
