A second Qatari aircraft has been sent to war-torn Sudan, carrying 22 tonnes of medical aid to assist those affected by the current conflict in Sudan.

This move comes within the framework of Qatar's support for the Sudanese people amid the ongoing fighting.

The shipment arrived at Port Sudan Airport on Saturday, May 6th.

The aid was provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), and the Qatari Red Crescent Society.

This aircraft marks the second of at least six other essential deliveries expected to be sent as part of an air bridge to Sudan.
