Remote education scheduled from March 8–12 to support learning continuity during Ramadan.

The Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued a new circular adjusting operational arrangements in government schools and kindergartens, introducing remote learning schedules from March 8 to March 12, 2026.

The decision applies to public educational institutions across Qatar and is intended to ensure the continuity of education during the holy month of Ramadan while accommodating working and learning conditions during the period.

Under the updated arrangement, students in government schools and kindergartens will transition to remote learning systems, with teachers and administrative staff following modified working schedules to maintain educational services.

The ministry stated that the move supports both educational continuity and community wellbeing during Ramadan, while ensuring that learning outcomes remain unaffected. Schools are expected to implement digital teaching platforms and online class management tools to facilitate lessons.

Officials also encouraged parents and students to stay updated through official communication channels for further guidance regarding class schedules, academic activities, and assessment arrangements.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality education under flexible operational conditions and said it will continue monitoring the effectiveness of remote learning implementation.
