Qatar Museums announced that its museums and galleries will reopen to the public from 21 March 2026, the second day of Eid Al-Fitr.
During the Eid period, all indoor venues—including galleries, cafés, and retail outlets—will be open daily from 21 to 27 March, even on their usual closing days. Outdoor sites, such as heritage and archaeological locations, remain temporarily closed.

Safety first
Qatar Museums said the safety and wellbeing of visitors and staff remain a top priority. Measures are in place to ensure a safe, comfortable experience, with staff available to assist visitors across all sites.
Regular hours resume after Eid
Following Eid, regular operating hours will resume:

Saturday–Thursday: 9 am – 7 pm

Friday: 1:30 pm – 7 pm

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art: closed Mondays

National Museum of Qatar: closed Tuesdays

3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum: closed Tuesdays
