The Al Gannas Association has declared the initiation of the 15th Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival, known as Marmi 2024. The event commences on January 1 and is scheduled to continue until January 27, hosted at Sabkhat Marmi within the Sealine Area.

Commencement and Competition Details

Miteb Mubarak Al Qahtani, the festival's chairman, announced the opening competition, Al Tala’a Championship, slated to run from the start until January 7. Thirty-four groups will engage in competitive events during this phase. Al Qahtani mentioned that the subsequent rounds' schedule will be determined post the qualifiers, and the draw will be aired live on Al Gannas Association's social media platforms.

Event Schedule Highlights

Al Qahtani outlined the forthcoming schedule for the 15th Marmi International Festival 2024. The Hadad Al Tahadi Championship will commence on the inaugural evening, featuring various competitions throughout. The grand finale of the Hadad Al Tahadi Championship is set for January 26.

Upcoming Championships

Highlighting the festival's itinerary, Al Qahtani specified the junior and promising falconers' championships scheduled for January 5. Additionally, the qualifiers for the Saluki racing championship will take place, with winners securing spots in the final rounds.
