Qatar Airways’ Al Safwa First Lounge Ranks Among the Best in the World
Where Luxury Meets Art: Al Safwa Lounge Soars in 2025 First-Class Rankings
Qatar Airways’ Al Safwa First Lounge at Hamad International Airport in Doha has once again proven its status as one of the world’s most outstanding airport lounges in 2025.
The lounge ranked fifth globally and secured the distinction of being the best in the Middle East, according to the latest Skytrax assessments.
Additionally, travel industry reports highlight its architectural grandeur and art-gallery ambiance as key factors behind its top-tier ranking.
Upon entry, the lounge greets guests with soaring travertine walls, brand-new art installations, and a serene central water feature—crafting the atmosphere of a minimalist museum rather than a standard transit space.
Spread across level three of the airport, Al Safwa can comfortably seat around 500 guests, allowing for a tranquil environment even during peak travel periods.
The luxury extends well beyond aesthetics. Guests enjoy bespoke amenities including a à la carte dining area with gourmet global and Arabic-infused dishes, private spa and treatment rooms, thermal jacuzzis, and serene sleep suites, with bedrooms available for up to six hours on a first-come, first-served basis.
Business travelers are served too: a fully equipped business center, private media rooms, and even an in-lounge duty-free boutique add to the all-inclusive premium experience.
