14-Day Stay for Tourists

The first option allows Indian tourists to stay in the Philippines for up to 14 days without a visa. This short-term entry is strictly for leisure purposes and cannot be extended or converted to another visa type.

To qualify, travelers must:

  • Be visiting for tourism only

  • Have a passport valid for at least 6 months after entry

  • Show proof of hotel bookings or accommodation

  • Present a return or onward flight ticket

  • Show evidence of financial capability (like bank statements)

  • Have no negative record with Philippine immigration

30-Day Entry for Travelers with Visas from Select Countries

The second option offers a 30-day visa-free stay, but only for Indian nationals who hold a valid visa or permanent residency in countries including Australia, Japan, America, Canada, Schengen States, Singapore, or the UK—collectively known as AJACSSUK countries.

Requirements for the 30-day visa-free option:

  • A valid visa or resident permit from any of the AJACSSUK countries

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months

  • A confirmed return or onward flight

  • Clean immigration history with the Philippines

e-Visa Still an Option for Others

For those who don’t meet the above criteria, the Philippines still offers an e-visa option for Indian travelers. The 9(a) Temporary Visitor Visa allows a single-entry 30-day stay and can be applied for via evisa.gov.ph.

Applicants need to submit:

  • A valid passport

  • Government-issued ID

  • Passport-size photos

  • Proof of hotel booking

  • Return or onward ticket

  • Proof of financial support

This move is expected to attract more Indian tourists to the Philippines, especially those looking for tropical escapes without visa stress.
