The International Football Association (FIFA) and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Partnership LLC (Qatar 2022) have announced that the process for granting media licenses to cover the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ (for media and non-lefts holders) has begun, and the deadline for submissions is closing On August 15, 2022

Access to the media permit application form requires a specific code, all FIFA member football associations have obtained a certain share of written press passes and photographers' passes for later distribution to national media organizations and their representatives, a media representative can apply for authorization through FIFA Media Center as soon as it obtains its code from its national federation or media organization.

Non-lefts-holding organizations: Radio or TV companies that do not own the rights to broadcast the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. These organizations will be able to apply for media licenses without the need to provide their own code, and a very limited number of licenses will be allocated to non-lefts holders. They will not be allowed into stadiums on match days.

FIFA TV is directly responsible for the media rights licensees (television and radio rights holders), and the FIFA Broadcasting Services team maintains regular contact with the media licensees.

The FIFA World Cup 2022™ will be the most distinguished version of the convergence of distances between its stadiums since the inaugural edition of the World Cup in 1930, and the tournament will witness four matches per day during the group stage, and most of the events will be in and around Doha without the need for domestic flights.

FIFA and Qatar 2022 will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and services for accredited media, and the main media center will be co-located with the International Broadcasting Center in the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, which will serve as a hub for the transport to the headquarters of the participating teams in the tournament the day before each match and to the stunning eight stadiums, and the nearest stadium is Education City Stadium, which is only four kilometers from the main media center, and the farthest away is Al Bayt Stadium, which is only 45 kilometers away.

The media can request to attend a maximum of two matches per day during the group stage, provided that they are not consecutive, in order to allow plenty of time to move between stadiums. The main media center will provide fully equipped facilities for accredited media to follow the matches and press conferences remotely, and all press conferences will be held on the day before each match in the main media center.
