Rihanna Welcomes Third Child and it's a Girl

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have joyfully welcomed their third child—a baby girl—revealed via an Instagram post earlier this week.  The daughter, named Rocki Irish Mayers, was born on September 13, 2025, marking the first time the couple has had a daughter. 

This new arrival continues the couple’s naming tradition: all their children carry names beginning with the letter “R.”  Rocki joins her two older brothers—RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023. 

The announcement post included a tender first photograph of Rocki swaddled in pink, accompanied by matching pink accents, including a tiny pair of baby boxing gloves tied with ribbons. The sentiment of the post radiated joy, gratitude, and a sense of completeness to the growing Fenty–Mayers family. 

Rihanna first confirmed her pregnancy during the 2025 Met Gala in May, where she notably debuted her baby bump in a striking Marc Jacobs ensemble. Through her pregnancy, she remained committed to pushing maternity fashion boundaries, opting for couture looks from Chanel and Saint Laurent rather than traditional maternity wear.  

Earlier in June, A$AP Rocky seemed to hint that they might welcome a baby girl, responding affirmatively when asked if “that’s the girl you’ve been waiting for” and holding up a Smurfette figure—a playful nod to Rihanna’s upcoming voice role in Smurfs. 

Fans and admirers from around the world have flooded social platforms with congratulations, celebrating the expansion of Rihanna’s family. For Rihanna and Rocky, Rocki represents not only a new chapter, but a long-held vision of a family filled with love, closeness, and creative spirit.
