Palestinian journalist Bayan Abusultan was injured and 33 others killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s Al Baqa guest house, amid rising war casualties.

Palestinian Journalist Injured in Israeli Attack on Gaza

An Israeli attack wounded Palestinian journalist, Bayan Abusultan, on Monday, June 30. 

At least 33 Palestinians were killed in the attack by Israeli warplanes on the Al Baqa guest house, which is located on Gaza City beach. Palestinian journalist Ismail Abu Hatab was killed in the attack, increasing the number of journalists killed in the war to 227. 

Some 50 people were wounded in the attack, including Abusultan, according to sources. Photographs are circulating on social media which show her holding her shoulder, where blood has heavily soaked her T-shirt, and her face covered with blood streaks. 

At least 80 Palestinians were killed in Israel's attacks on Gaza on Monday, according to health officials. Other than the attack on the guest house, thirteen Palestinians were killed in a strike in Khan Younis, while they were waiting for aid.
