Karachi was abuzz after posts emerged claiming that Pakistani-American actress Saeeda Imtiaz, famed for appearing on Tamasha Season 1, had been found dead in her home. The alarming message posted to her verified Instagram account quickly went viral. However, the news is false, and Saeeda is alive and well.

The Truth Revealed

Saeeda refuted the rumors via a video and official statements, explaining that her Instagram and Facebook had been hacked. She expressed her shock and frustration, noting the distress caused to her family and fans.

On her social media, Imtiaz explained that she woke on Tuesday to an influx of messages and calls, inquiring about her health. After learning about the situation, Imtiaz went into a state of shock. 

The rumors also caused panic among her siblings and her mother, neither of whom lives in Pakistan. 

Imtiaz said, "I understand teasing or bullying someone, but I don't understand bullying someone to the extent where it hurts them or their family.

Her legal adviser, Mian Shahbaz Ahmed, and friend Saim Ali also confirmed that Saeeda is safe in Lahore and condemned the hacking incident, stating legal action will be pursued.
