Marco Verratti has landed in Doha -- where he inked a deal with Al-Arabi in a €45 million ($48m) transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian midfielder reportedly underwent medical tests on Tuesday before officially signing as a member of Al-Arabi.
"I am very happy. I can't wait to start this season. I hope we will have a great season. We're going to have a lot of desire," Verratti told Alkass TV Sports.
After an 11-year tenure at PSG, Verratti bid farewell to the club this week.
Although the contract's terms remain undisclosed, it is expected to span two to three years.
