The grizzly bears are well known as one of the most strong terrestrial predators in North America. Adult males may weigh in excess of 600 kilograms and are incredibly strong, furred, and have sharp claws which are adapted to defense and hunting. This reputation notwithstanding, in some cases, some animals in the wild are big, tactical, or have weapons of nature, and can oppose a grizzly. These are very uncommon experiences, but the wildlife has been spotted and documented cases of certain species standing their ground and even dominating a grizzly.
