The inaugural edition of Sneaker Con Doha has concluded with resounding success, setting a new global benchmark for the iconic franchise. Held from May 29 to 31, 2026, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), the event attracted over 33,000 visitors, marking the largest attendance in the event's history since its founding in 2009.
Organized as a centerpiece of Visit Qatar's "Hala Summer" campaign, the three-day spectacle transformed more than 7,000 square meters of exhibition space into a bustling hub for sneaker enthusiasts, collectors, and streetwear aficionados. The event successfully brought "The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth" to the Qatari capital for the first time.
Record-Breaking Commerce and Attendance
The commercial impact of the debut was immediate and substantial. With 60 vendors hailing from around the globe, the marketplace facilitated the sale of rare sneakers, limited-edition drops, exclusive streetwear collections, and high-value collectibles. By the final day, the event had generated over QAR 1.2 million in sales.
Beyond the marketplace, the event offered a robust program of activities, including live entertainment, interactive brand activations, sporting competitions, and panel discussions. A key highlight for collectors was the introduction of "Sneaker Con Authenticated," which provided trusted, on-site verification services to ensure the authenticity of purchases for buyers and sellers alike.

Ahmed Al Binali, Director of Festivals and Events at Visit Qatar, hailed the outcome as a testament to Qatar's evolving role in the global events landscape.
