Royal Challengers  Bengaluru (RCB) are the champions of the 2025 Indian Premier League, winning their first-ever title on Tuesday, June 3, in a pulsating final that had cricket fans on the edge of their seats.

Played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first. 

RCB's Virat Kohli scored 43 runs, Rajat Patidar secured 26 runs, and Liam Livingstone secured 25 runs, helping the team score a total of 190 runs.

PBKS's Shashank Singh secured 61 runs, Josh Inglis secured 39 runs, and Prabhsimran Singh secured 26 runs, pushing the team's total score to 184 runs in 20 runs.

Krunal Pandya was named player of the match because he secured two wickets, conceding 17 runs in four overs, removing Prabhsimran Singh and Josh Inglis.

Mumbai Indians' Suryakumar Yadav won the Player of the Tournament for securing 717 runs in this tournament at 167.9, making him the only middle-order batsman to secure 700 runs in an IPL tournament.  

After years of heartbreaks and near misses, RCB fans finally have a reason to celebrate. With Kohli and Pandya shining at the right moment, this victory was not just a win—it was a statement.
