Jordan’s Queen Rania meets Mukesh and Nita Ambani in Mumbai, underscoring friendship and cultural connections during her official visit.

Jordan’s Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his family at their iconic Antilia residence in Mumbai on Sunday during her official trip to India, marking a warm moment of international friendship and cultural exchange.

The intimate gathering at the Ambani family home included Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, their daughter Isha Ambani, and members of the extended family, including Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant. Photographs shared by Queen Rania on social media captured the royal posing with her hosts, highlighting the gracious hospitality that characterised the visit.

In an Instagram post expressing her gratitude, Queen Rania thanked Mukesh and Nita Ambani for their warm welcome in Mumbai, noting that their friendship and generosity made her stay in India particularly memorable.

For the occasion, the queen wore a crisp white blouse paired with a dark embroidered midi skirt and a moss-green sash — a blend of contemporary style and timeless elegance. The Ambani women also turned heads with their fashion choices, combining traditional Indian attire and modern silhouettes during the regal afternoon event.

Queen Rania’s visit included more than social engagements in Mumbai. Earlier during her trip, she delivered a keynote address in New Delhi at the ET Now Global Business Summit, where she spoke about the value of humility in leadership and reflected on shared global challenges.

The queen also toured the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, meeting with prominent Indian women leaders in business, social work, media and the arts. Accompanied by Isha Ambani, she observed artisans at the Swadesh initiative, a platform celebrating Indian craftsmanship and supporting cultural heritage through hand embroidery, weaving and other artisanal skills.

Her Mumbai visit further included a tour of the Chanakya School of Craft, where she witnessed traditional hand-embroidery techniques and spoke with trainees, emphasising her long-standing advocacy for education and community empowerment.
