The space agency NASA has recently published breathtaking photos showing a huge underwater volcanic eruption that has caused a rare phenomenon on the Earth. The dramatic event took place in extraordinarily distant oceans of the Pacific and poured out molten rock and gas in tremendous amounts. The fast cooling, against the cold seawater, caused the lava to crack into a great expansive field of floating porous rocks – currently, these floating islands are floating across the open ocean.
