Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter Make Stunning Cannes Debut with Homebound Premiere
Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter shone at the Cannes Film Festival 2025 with the team of 'Homebound' on Tuesday, May 20.

The stars graced the red carpet with Bollywood producer, Karan Johar, whose Dharma Movies has backed this film.
They accompanied the rest of the film's team at the red carpet, which included Vishal Jethwa, the director Neeraj Ghaywan, Apoorva Mehta, Natasha Poonawalla, Somen Mishra, Marijke, Melita Toscan du Plantier, and Pravin Khairnar.
On Wednesday, May 21, 'Homebound' premiered at the film festival and received a nine-minute standing ovation after the screening.
The whole team attended the premiere for the film, which is featuring in the Un Certain Regard this year at the film festival. The legendary Martin Scorsese is the executive producer of the film.

'Homebound' is about two friends from a north Indian village who seek police officer jobs to gain dignity, but it strains their friendship.
It was Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's debut at Cannes this year and they are making India proud with 'Homebound'.
