Cristiano Ronaldo stays loyal to Al Nassr, extending his contract through 2027 and aiming to hit 1,000 career goals with the Saudi Arabian football club.

Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr until 2027.

The football club announced on Thursday, June 26, saying, "Cristiano Ronaldo is staying at @AlNassrFC until 2027."

Ronaldo has made 93 goals in 105 appearances with the club after joining it in 2023. The announcement came after Ronaldo posted in May a picture of himself in the Al Nassr kit on social media, saying, "This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all."

There were speculations that Ronaldo would join CF Monterrey, Al Hilal, and his boyhood club, Sporting CP; however, he has decided to stay with the Saudi FC.

As Ronaldo continues to chase the milestone of 1,000 career goals—currently standing at 936—Saudi fans are happy to know he will do so with Al Nassr.
