Captain America Becomes a Girl Dad! Chris Evans and Alba Baptista Welcome Their First Child

Chris Evans, widely known for his iconic role as Captain America, and his wife Alba Baptista have joyfully welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, marking a heartfelt new chapter for the couple. 

The little one, named Alma Grace Baptista Evans, arrived in Massachusetts on October 24, 2025, the couple’s first child together.  Evans, aged 44, and Baptista, aged 28, married in September 2023 after dating privately, and have been keeping much of their personal life out of the public eye. 

While neither Evans nor Baptista has issued a detailed public statement about their newborn, reports confirm they are “enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby.”

Evans has long spoken of his desire to settle down and build a family. In a 2022 interview, he said, “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family.” This new role as father appears to fulfil that intention. 

Baptista, originally from Portugal and fluent in several languages, has steadily made her mark as an actress. The arrival of their daughter marks an exciting expansion of their private world, and positions Evans in a new “superhero” role—one of fatherhood. The name “Alma,” meaning “soul” in Portuguese and Spanish, is said to honor Baptista’s roots. 

As they embrace these intimate early moments together, fans and well-wishers are celebrating the star’s transformation from on-screen hero to real-life dad—adding a heartwarming new narrative to his public persona.
