Apple Pre-Shipped 600 Tons Phones from India Before Tariffs
According to reports, 600 tons of iPhones have been airlifted from India.
The multinational technology corporation Apple rushed to airlift 600 tons of iPhones from India to America ahead of the implementation of tariffs, according to Reuters.

Furthermore, the company tried to persuade the Indian airport authorities to cut six hours from the 30 hours needed to clear customs at Chennai airport in Tamil Nadu, India, according to Reuters' sources.
Around six cargo jets with a capacity of 100 tons each have flown out of India since March, the source added.
The Foxconn plant in Chennai has extended operations to Sundays to meet its goal of 20 percent increase in its usual production, which led to the increase in their air shipments, the source also said.
According to one senior Indian official, Apple spent eight months in the process of planning and setting up the expedited customs clearances in Chennai.
Foxconn’s U.S. shipments from India reached $770 million in January and $643 million in February, up from $110-$331 million from four months before, according to the customs' data.
Over 85 percent of the January and February shipments from Foxconn were offloaded in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
The news comes after US President Donald Trump put a 90-day pause on tariffs for all countries, including India.
